What kind of port is Naha Port?
Naha Port is the gateway to Okinawa Island. Located close to Asia, it is a popular port for international cruise ships departing from and arriving in Taiwan and China.
The Naha Cruise Terminal opened in April 2014 and is managed by the Naha Port Authority. It includes an immigration hall and a tourist information center.

When docking at the second cruise berth
The second cruise berth is located at Shinminato Pier, far from the city center, and it is not possible to reach the city on foot. You will need to use a shuttle bus or taxi arranged by the cruise company. On MSC Bellissima cruises departing from and arriving in Naha, a shuttle bus (for a fee) has been operated between Naha Airport/Prefectural Office and the second cruise berth.
Even within Naha Port, the docking location can vary depending on the ship and the day. Be sure to check the shipping company's information (final announcement or onboard announcements) to find out which docking location your ship will be docking at.

First Makishi Public Market (Naha City)
This market is known as "Naha's kitchen." You can buy fish and meat on the first floor and have them cooked at the restaurants on the second floor. It's located right next to Kokusai Street.

If your cruise ship docks at Naha Cruise Terminal (Wakasa), it's about a 20-minute walk. However, if it docks at the No. 2 cruise berth at Shinminato Pier, it's not within walking distance, so please use a shuttle bus or taxi.
Q2How do I get to Shuri Castle?
Take the Yui Rail to Shuri Station, then walk from there. Kencho-mae Station is about a 15-20 minute walk from Naha Cruise Terminal.
