Adding it on iPhone

  1. Open cruisefun.jp in Safari (the blue compass icon).If you are opening the app within LINE or Instagram, please select "Open in Safari" from the menu in the bottom right or top right corner.
  2. Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.If you can't see the button, pull the screen down slightly to reveal it. On an iPad, it's located at the top of the screen.
  3. Swipe up on the menu that appears and tapAdd to Home Screen .If you can't find it, you can add it from "Edit Actions" at the bottom of the menu.
  4. Check that the name is “cruisefun”, then in the top right tap Add .
  5. A blue ship icon has appeared on your home screen. From now on, you can open it by simply tapping this icon.

Adding it on Android

  1. Open cruisefun.jp in Chrome.
  2. Tap the Add to home screen button at the bottom of the page.If nothing appears when you tap the button, tap ⋮ in the top right of Chrome, then choose “Install app” or “Add to home screen”.
  3. On the confirmation screen, tap Install .
  4. A blue ship icon has appeared on your home screen. From now on, you can open it by simply tapping this icon.

FAQ

Q1 Does it cost money?

No. Adding it to your home screen and using cruisefun are both free.

Q2 Is this different from apps on the App Store?

No. It isn't an app you download from a store — it simply lets you open the cruisefun website like an app. It uses almost no storage on your phone.

Q3 If I open it from the home screen, do I need to log in again?

On iPhones, you may need to log in again when opening the app from the home screen. Once you've logged in, you can use it without any further logins.

Q4 How do I remove the icon?

Press and hold the icon on the home screen, and select "Delete" (or "Uninstall" on Android) from the menu that appears. Your cruisefun membership information and posts will not be deleted.

Q5 Can it be used in areas without a signal?

An internet connection is required to view this page. In areas without a signal, such as on a ship, a message saying "No internet connection" will be displayed. Please refresh the page once you arrive at port and regain signal.
