FAQ
Q1 What's the easiest way to get from Haneda Airport to Osanbashi Pier?
If you have a lot of luggage, take a taxi. From the taxi stand on the Kanagawa side of Haneda Airport, you can take a taxi to Naka Ward or Nishi Ward (Minato Mirai) in Yokohama City for a fixed fare of 8,800 yen (10,300 yen from 10 PM to 5 AM). Toll road fees are not included. If you want to go cheaply, take the Keikyu train to Yokohama Station, transfer to the Minato Mirai Line and get off at Nihon-Odori Station.
Q2 Can I get to the cruise ship terminal at Daikoku Pier by train?
There are no train stations nearby. Daikoku Pier is located within a logistics port, and access for the general public is restricted. You can get there by taxi or shuttle bus provided by the cruise line. If you enter by taxi, you will need to show proof of your passenger status, such as a copy of your boarding pass.
Q3 Can family and friends see me off at the terminal?
The terminal at Daikoku Pier is only accessible to passengers, so you cannot see off the ship there. However, the rooftop plaza (Kujira no Senaka) at Osanbashi Pier is open to the public, so you can see the ship off from there.
Q4 Which is more convenient from Narita Airport, train or bus?
Both options take approximately 90 minutes. The limousine bus (bound for Yokohama City Air Terminal, 4,000 yen) requires no transfers and allows you to check in your suitcase. The Narita Express (reserved seat to Yokohama Station, 4,480 yen) is not affected by road congestion.
