It's about a 20-minute walk from Shin-Chuo Pier to JR Aomori Station. Nebuta no Ie Wa-Rasse and Nokke-don.
A shuttle bus service to Aburatsu Station is also available. Obi, known as the "Little Kyoto of Kyushu," and bonito from Nichinan.
We docked at the Akita Port Cruise Terminal at Nakajima Wharf. We then took a shuttle bus to the center of Akita City.
It's about a 10-minute drive from Pier 4 to JR Abashiri Station. The Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum allows you to touch drift ice even in the middle of summer.
We docked at Takamatsu Pier No. 2. This port offers easy access to Matsushima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots, Shiogama, a town famous for sushi, and Sendai, known for its beef tongue.
Cruise ships dock at Wakamatsu Pier in front of the station, and it's about a 3-minute walk to Hakodate Station. From there, you can visit the morning market, the bay area, Mount Hakodate, and Goryokaku.
From the passenger ship terminal to the city center, it's about a 25-minute ride by shuttle bus or taxi. From there, you can visit the Ryoma Sakamoto statue at Katsurahama Beach and enjoy some katsuo no tataki (seared bonito) at Hirome Market.
We docked at Sakai Yumeminato Terminal, the gateway to sightseeing in the San'in region, including Mizuki Shigeru Road, Mt. Daisen, Matsue, and Mihonoseki.
