Originally, another company was building the ship in Germany under the name "Global Dream," but Disney acquired it in 2022 and completed it.

- Disney Imagination Garden: A plaza and stage located in the center of the ship. Departure parties and shows such as "Avengers Assemble!" are held here.
- Marvel Landing: The attraction area on the upper deck. The Iron Cycle Test Run roller coaster is over 250 meters long, making it the longest roller coaster over the sea.
- Toy Story Place: Family-friendly pool, water slides, and water play area. Snacks are also available at Pizza Planet.
- Disney Discovery Reef: The stern area of the ship, themed after films like "The Little Mermaid" and "Finding Nemo." It features a collection of restaurants and cafes.
- Wayfinder Bay: A relaxing area themed after "Moana." There are also shows by the poolside with a large screen.
- San Fransokyo Street: Themed after the city from 'Big Hero 6'. It features a movie theater, a game lounge, and a Duffy & Friends shop.
- Town Square: The World of Disney Princesses. A Broadway-style show will be performed at the Walt Disney Theatre.

Fireworks and show over the sea
Disney Cruise Line is the only cruise company that launches fireworks at sea. This ship will feature a fireworks show themed after "The Lion King." There will also be original shows and meet-and-greets with Duffy and his friends, making it a treat for Disney fans in Japan.

The ship features themed restaurants throughout, offering a variety of cuisines including Asian, Indian, Pacific, and Italian. Some, such as the adult-oriented Italian restaurant "Palo Trattoria," require reservations and are subject to an additional charge.

What I liked
- The boarding process was relatively smooth.
- There are plenty of experiences that are typical of a modern cruise ship, such as Disney characters appearing during meals and digital technology that turns your own drawings into animations.
- While most ships only have windows facing the sea, this ship has cabins with windows overlooking the courtyard (Imagination Garden). Since shows are held in the courtyard, being able to watch them from your room window is a unique feature.
- The Indian food and hamburgers at the shop in the courtyard were delicious.
Things you should know
- Since this ship is for Disney fans, there are many more children than on other cruise ships. If you're looking for a quiet adult-only trip, it's best to make good use of the adult-only spaces.
- Almost no one speaks Japanese on board. I only encountered two Japanese staff members during my entire trip. It's best to assume that English is essential and prepare accordingly.
- The service provided by the restaurant staff varied from person to person.
