What kind of ship is the Eastern Venus?
Eastern Venus was completed in 1998 by Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (now IHI) and operated as the "Pacific Venus" for Japan Cruise Line. Following the company's cessation of operations, it was sold in 2023 and given its current name.
The interior retains the atmosphere of the "Pacific Venus" era, and a "Nostalgia Cruise" is planned for former passengers to ride and reminisce.
