What kind of ship is the Legend of the Seas?
Legend of the Seas is the third ship in Royal Caribbean's Icon Class. It was built at Meyer Turku in Finland and delivered to the cruise line in June 2026. Other ships in the same class include Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas.
The ship is divided into eight areas and features a variety of facilities, including "Thrill Island," the largest water park at sea, an infinity pool, an ice arena, an indoor aqua theater, and "Central Park" with real plants and trees. With over 40 restaurants and a children's area called "Surfside," it's a ship that families and groups can enjoy.
It uses LNG (liquefied natural gas) as fuel and is equipped with facilities to receive electricity from land while docked.

Q3Is this a different ship from the previous "Legend of the Seas"?
