We docked at Beppu International Tourist Port and took a shuttle bus to Beppu Station. Then we explored the steaming hot spring town and the "hells" (geothermal hot springs).

We docked at Takamatsu Pier No. 2. This port offers easy access to Matsushima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots, Shiogama, a town famous for sushi, and Sendai, known for its beef tongue.

Cruise ships dock at Wakamatsu Pier in front of the station, and it's about a 3-minute walk to Hakodate Station. From there, you can visit the morning market, the bay area, Mount Hakodate, and Goryokaku.
