What kind of ship is Villa Vi Odyssey?

This ship is operated by Villa Vie Residences, an American company. Unlike typical cruises that last one to two weeks, residents own their cabins as their "homes" and live on the ship as it travels around the world.

According to the official website, the 3.5-year round-the-world voyage will visit over 400 ports, spending approximately 651 TP3T days in port and approximately 351 TP3T days at sea. The package includes meals, onboard internet (Starlink), wine and beer with meals, and medical consultations.

The ship was built in Spain in 1993 and for a long time sailed mainly in Europe as the "Braemar" for Fred Olsen Cruises.

FAQ

Q1 Can I board it like a regular cruise ship?

While the basic model is "residence," where you purchase a room to live in, the official website also offers rental options for a fixed period. Please check the official website for conditions and rates.

Q2 Why are you staying in Naha for so many days?

Since these ships are inhabited by residents for extended periods, they often stay in one port for several days. The official website states that approximately 651 TP3T ships are in port on any given day.
