What kind of port is Takamatsu Port?
Takamatsu Port is the port of Takamatsu City, the capital of Kagawa Prefecture, and serves as a base for ships to the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. The quay in the Tamamo area was developed in 1998 to accommodate 20,000-ton vessels and was expanded to accommodate 50,000-ton vessels in 2011.
The Tamamo breakwater next to the quay has been converted into a promenade, allowing you to watch the ferries coming and going up close.
