We docked at Sukumo Bay Port and drove for about 10 minutes to Sukumo Station. Then we headed to the Shimanto River, Japan's last remaining pristine river.

Tateyama Port (Chiba Prefecture)
It's about a 15-minute walk from Tateyama Sunset Pier to JR Tateyama Station. Nagisa no Eki Tateyama and Aburi Kaisendon (grilled seafood rice bowl).

Tagonoura Port (Shizuoka Prefecture)
It's about a 5-minute drive from Fuji Wharf to Yoshiwara Station. A port town where you can see Mt. Fuji from sea level.

Shimoda Port (Shizuoka Prefecture)
Approximately a 16-minute walk to Izukyu Shimoda Station. Perry Road and Kinmedai (golden snapper) in Shimoda, the town that opened Japan to the world.
Kagawa
Shodoshima Island, Sakate Port (Kagawa Prefecture)
The passenger ship anchors offshore, and passengers disembark at Sakate Port by tender boat. From there, they tour Shodoshima, the island of olives.
Wakayama
Shingu Port (Wakayama Prefecture)
It's about a 5-minute drive from Shingu Port to Kii-Sano Station. Visit the Kumano Sanzan World Heritage Site and enjoy fresh tuna.

Otaru Port (Hokkaido)
It's about a 15-minute walk from Pier 3 to JR Otaru Station. Otaru Canal, Sakaimachi Street, and a town famous for sushi.
Yamagata

We docked at Furuminato Pier and took a shuttle bus to the Nakamachi area. This is the port town of Sankyo Warehouse and Kitamae-bune trading ships.
Kagawa
Sakaide Port (Kagawa Prefecture)
A port at the foot of the Seto Ohashi Bridge. It's about a 15-minute drive from Hayashida Pier A to JR Sakaide Station.
